A new challenger appears! - This page marks the beginning of the most text-heavy, exposition-est pages in the entire chapter and I am really sorry.

This week went by really fast, and it felt so long that I was sure I missed an update at one point, but here we are. I'm currently scrambling to get everything ready for the migration to Hiveworks, and right now I'm focusing on redoing the first three pages of the comic.

There's still a lot to do after this - when I'm done with the redone pages I need to spend a bit of time building up my buffer again - but all these sleepless nights and hours spent sitting at my computer has shown me one thing: I love doing this. I love making comics for you guys. I could do this all day, every day.

They sure do calm down quick don't they? Also Brent's face in the second panel is hilarious.

Keep up the good work!

@Have a rock: In my experience, fights with your siblings are like throwing lighter fluid on a small flame: they're hot and intense and incredibly flashy, but after that initial burst everything dies down pretty fast.
Of course, it depends on the fight, but fighting a lot makes that kind of reaction a habit.

Poor Thistle standing their awkwardly!! Looks like she's a moment away from clutching her tunic out of nervousness rather than just clutching her fists to subconsciously hold herself in place. Maybe this isn't for her? Fighting right off the bat, lol. (On the bright side at least they're honest and open about things rather then having fake smiles all the time, where they're ready to stab you in the back)

Lol Lyra with just the "no". Is that "no, no" Or "No, not telling you?" Brent is going to be burning up out of curiosity!

Welcome to Team Baggage and Issues!
(When the story starts Thistle has been with them for 2 months, who is the longest 2nd member of the team (since Orrig is the boss) and how long have Lyra and Brent been working together under Orrig? Obviously long enough to be uncomfortable and comfortable at the same time.)

Yeah, Thistle has had some tough times, but this new lifestyle will take some serious adjusting! (And yes, Lyra's "No" is just that. Just.... no.

I don't think it counts as a spoiler, so I'll go ahead and make it public: Brent worked for Orrig first, kind of like an intern. Then Lyra was brought on, and now, finally, Thistle. If a Merc Leader gets enough followers, he can actually establish his own permanent "HQ" and distribute "commissions" to his employees. It's a good system.

@man in black: Let the countdown begin.

@namename: AAAAUUUUGGGGHGHGHGHGH I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE BUT THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR STAYING WITH ME FOR SO LONG THROUGH SO MUCH JUNK. People like you are the reason I'm able to keep coming back and making this stuff even through all the crappy things that happen in my life. THANK YOU.

@FirecrackerBee: Team Baggage and Issues is a fantastic name for this team, I'm totally gonna use that all the time now. Well done.
