Okay, I admit it. I have a thing for mountain cities.

I got my ring baaaack! - After a whole week of waiting, I finally got the engagement ring back! And oh boy oh boy, it was worth the wait. This thing sure is shiny. Milo has good taste.

So, I'm amazed how much of a difference just a little bit of development art can be. I didn't do a ton of research into mountains or cities integrated into landscapes, but just a couple of rough sketches of photos I planned to use for reference made the process so much easier I still have trouble wrapping my head around it. I actually didn't even reference the photos I had chosen for most of that panel, but since I already had the feel for most of what was going on, it went very smoothly.

...which means that, yet again, Milo was right about something. Sigh.

I've been playing a lot of Assassin's Creed 4 lately. Does anyone have any really good games they recommend after I beat it? I still have Red Dead Redemption and Dark Souls on deck, but I'm open to suggestions.

See you next week!

Meg out.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. It can be finished in 3-4 hours of gameplay, but it is worth every minute.

Whatever this guy's issue is with Orrig's cool poster, I don't think it will end well for him.

I'd recommend Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning. Haven't actually played it myself, but it looks pretty good with its action, art, story, and gameplay. Or Skyrim, along with its dlcs.

My darling Fiancee, I swear to god, if you play anything other than Red Dead Redemption or Dark Souls after you beat AC4, I'm taking that ring back.

AND you have Far Cry 3, and Fallout New Vegas, and other things! You are banned from buying any new games, young lady!

The page layout is great, but that establishing shot of the town is EPIC. <3

This view reminds me of Monkey Island... I can definitely live with that :-)

This page is put together so beautifully! Especially the ways panels 1 and 2 work together. Nice!
